A Sejda alternative with no upload and no hourly limit
Both merge PDFs without signup. The difference is where the merge runs and what you can do before it.

Sejda's online tools upload your documents and process them on its servers. Its merge page says the files go over an encrypted connection and are automatically deleted after 2 hours.
This tool does the merge in your browser tab and the files are not uploaded. Here is how to check that yourself.
Free limits side by side
- Sejda free: its merge page says documents up to 50 pages or 50 MB, and 3 tasks per hour. Its pricing page says no signup is required. Its paid plan removes the page and hourly limits and allows files up to 500MB.
- This tool, free: up to 5 files and 20MB in total per merge, as many merges as you like, no account, no watermark.
Sejda allows bigger documents; this tool does not limit how many merges you run per hour. If you merge several sets in a row, the hourly count is the difference you will notice.
What Sejda does that this tool does not
Sejda's merge page says image files are converted to PDF automatically and merged with your PDFs. Its Pages view lets you delete, reorder or duplicate pages before merging, and it offers options such as bookmarks, a table of contents and same page size. It also has a desktop app whose files never leave your computer; the desktop app is free with daily limits.
This tool only joins whole PDF files.
What this tool does
It joins whole PDF files, in the order you choose, into one new PDF. The merge runs in your browser tab and the files are not uploaded; here is how to check that yourself. It needs no account and adds no watermark. Free covers up to 5 files and 20MB in total per merge, with as many merges as you like. Pro removes the file-count and size limits.
It does not edit anything: no reordering or deleting pages inside a file, no compression, no text recognition, no signing, and no converting Word files or images to PDF.
Which one to use
- Use this tool for several merges in a row, or when nothing should be uploaded.
- Use Sejda when you need page-level changes, image files, or documents larger than this tool's free limit, and uploading is acceptable.
Checked against Sejda's own pages on 5 October 2026. Limits and wording change and can differ by country, so look at their current page before you decide.
