Free: up to 5 files, 20MB total

The same four steps everywhere

  1. Press Choose files, or drop your PDFs on the box above.
  2. Put the files in order with drag and drop or the arrow buttons.
  3. Press Merge PDFs.
  4. Press Download merged.pdf.

What you need

A current web browser with JavaScript turned on. There is nothing to install and no account to create. The merge happens in the browser tab, so your files are not uploaded; here is how to check.

Where the merged file goes

Your browser saves merged.pdf to its usual downloads location, or asks where to save it, depending on your browser's settings.

Built-in options

Some systems include their own way to join PDFs, such as Preview on a Mac. This page is handy when you want the same steps on every computer, or when you are on a machine where you cannot change anything.

Limits

Free for up to 5 files and 20MB in total per merge. More on the limits.

Free, with an optional Pro unlock

Pro is Hexloom Pro, $29 a year or $4 a month, one subscription for every Hexloom tool. It removes the 5 file and 20MB limits. There is no account: Pro unlocks the browser you subscribe in, and the confirmation page has a link to restore it elsewhere.
