How to combine PDF files

  1. Press Choose files, or drop your PDFs on the box above, and pick every file you want in the result.
  2. Check the order in the list. Drag a file by its handle, or use the up and down arrows, until it matches the order you want.
  3. Press Merge PDFs.
  4. Press Download merged.pdf.

Combine, merge, join: the same thing

Different sites use different words. Here they all mean one job: the pages of several PDF files are copied, in the order you choose, into one new PDF. Your original files are not changed.

What you can combine

Ordinary PDF files: documents exported from a word processor, receipts, signed forms, scans saved as PDF. A file locked with a password has to be unlocked first; see merging password-protected PDFs. Only PDF files are accepted; other file types are skipped with a message.

Free limits

Up to 5 files and 20MB in total per merge, as many merges as you like, and no account. More on the limits and what to do beyond them.

Free, with an optional Pro unlock

Pro is Hexloom Pro, $29 a year or $4 a month, one subscription for every Hexloom tool. It removes the 5 file and 20MB limits. There is no account: Pro unlocks the browser you subscribe in, and the confirmation page has a link to restore it elsewhere.
