Download merged.pdfExport slides as PDF from the presentation software
This tool merges PDF files, so start by exporting your slides from PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, or similar. When you export, leave each slide as one page per PDF page: do not choose an option to shrink multiple slides onto one page (that is called N-up layout; many programs offer it in the export or print dialog, often called handouts or slides per page). Do the N-up layout in the presentation software itself, before exporting to PDF, if you need it. Then merge the resulting PDFs.
Name and order multiple decks
If you are combining several presentation decks, name them in order:
- 01-slides-part-1.pdf
- 02-slides-part-2.pdf
- 03-notes-or-agenda.pdf
Numbered names keep them easy to check in the list. Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons or drag by the ☰ handle to reorder if needed.
Page count example
Count pages in each deck and add them up to plan your merge and check the result:
- Presentation 1: 12 pages (12 slides at 1 page each)
- Presentation 2: 8 pages (8 slides at 1 page each)
- Agenda or notes: 1 page
- Total: 21 pages (12 + 8 + 1)
After you merge and download, open the result and count pages to confirm all three files are there.
Check the total size
Presentation PDFs vary in size depending on images and embedded media. Add up the file sizes beforehand: if a 12-slide deck is 8MB and an 8-slide deck is 5MB, the total is 13MB, which fits in the 20MB free limit. If you have more than 5 files, plan to merge in batches (see batch plans). If the total is close to 20MB, batching does not get around the size limit, but Pro does.
Batching multiple presentations
If you have more than 5 files (for example, 4 decks, an agenda and a notes file make 6), merge them in batches. Merge the first 5 files, then take that result and merge it with any remaining files. Rename the first result presentation-batch-1.pdf so you do not mix up the intermediate files.
What this does not do
It does not shrink multiple slides onto one page (N-up layout); that is done in the export or print dialog of your presentation software before you export to PDF. It does not add page numbers, edit slides, or compress. Password-protected PDFs stop the merge. Bookmarks and the document title may not carry over.
